About Our Client
Our client is an established and profitable QSR player. They operate in more than thirty countries and enjoy a significant store presence across several global brands. They have delivered consecutive record years in revenue and profitability. During this time, they have also executed various M&A opportunities and with this expansion, are looking to strengthen their global leadership team. The COO, Global will drive further expansion of the brand in US, EMEA, and GCR markets.Due to the high application volume for CXO roles, we will only be able to respond to shortlisted applicants.
Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the brand. This senior leadership role requires a seasoned executive with a proven track record in the QSR industry, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
4. Financial Performance: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance management to achieve revenue and profit goals.
5. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
6. Innovation and Development: Foster a culture of innovation to continuously improve the customer experience, menu offerings, and operational processes.
7. Brand Management: Uphold and enhance the brand reputation and compliance.
8. Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion, including new locations and potential acquisitions.
9. Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency, consistency, and excellence across all QSR locations.
10. Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
11. MBA or Master's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
12. Fifteen or more years in the retail sector, with at least five years in a CXO role at regional or global level.
13. QSR experience is a must for this role.
14. Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in own-store, franchise, and JV models.
15. Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L exceeding $1B USD.
16. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
17. Experience with market expansion and new location development.
18. Extensive travel is needed in this role, across Asia, Europe, and Middle East regions. We estimate 50-75% travel.
