Admin Officer
We are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer to work with one of our fantastic Public Sector clients in Coventry CV1. This is a 4 month temporary position initially, with good chance of extension but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.
If you have worked within the public sector before this would be advantageous but not essential. If you have transferable experience, then we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General administration duties
2. Data inputting, Microsoft Office package including Excel
3. Supporting the Judiciary with hearings using the Cloud Video Platform, MS Teams and other video/audio platforms
4. Producing court orders using the Courts bespoke systems and dealing with correspondence
5. Ensuring everyone has the correct papers needed/distributing these where necessary
6. Some elements of telephone work where needed
7. Completing documents including standard letters, forms, applications, orders, records, registers, statistics etc
8. Providing support to colleagues
9. Operating office equipment
Candidate Requirements:
1. Have previous experience within an administration role (preferable)
2. Have good IT skills
3. Be able to remain calm under pressure
4. Be able to work with very confidential and sensitive information
5. Be able to provide 3 years of referencing and pass a basic DBS check
Standard hours are 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Pay rate of £11.59 for the first 12 weeks then £11.88 per hour which is paid weekly.
