About you
Youre an experienced and highly credible hospitality manager with good cellar knowledge specialising in both busy bars and restaurants with a strong track record of success in either premium resorts, hotels or successful F&B venues either at a similar level currently, or someone ready for the next step in their career.
You have a proven track record in stock management and have experience in training and developing a growing team, working with employees from entry level knowledge to experienced hospitality professionals.
You are self-motivated, a role model within your team and enjoy a fast-paced environment where you will thrive.
You will have a clean driving licence, with a get go attitude who can adapt well to change.
About the role
The primary objective of the Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager is to work effectively, constructively and pro-actively with the F&B Manager to ensure that all the guests of the resort are consistently welcomed in a manner that upholds our high customer service standards. The Assistant Manager will ensure that we deliver a service in a way that ensures that all responsibilities are fulfilled in the most efficient and customer-focused method possible, whilst playing a key role in ensuring the communication between Front of House and the Kitchen is always 100%. The key to the role is always directed to providing the primary customer service objective whilst managing the below responsibilities in such a way that positively affects the customer's perception or visit experience.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Deputise for the F&B Manager in their absence and play a key role in helping to ensure all the front-of-house operations are within budgeted guidelines and to the highest of standards.
* To liaise with the kitchen to ensure the food and beverage operation works as one overall operation.
* To work with the Duty Manager team to ensure that our bar is fully operational, and our customers are delivered the highest of customer experiences.
* Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all their concerns.
* Responsible for the high standards of presentation and organisation of front-of-house areas and storage areas.
* Help ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene, Health and Safety legislation and requirements.
* To ensure all bar equipment and fittings must be in good working order and regularly cleaned and maintained as necessary.
* With the F&B Manager, review the product range to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained, and we stay ahead of the curve of both the local and national trends.
* Work with the F&B Manager to make sure the resort and staff meet all licensing legislation that will apply from time to time.
* Provide two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with an emphasis on motivation and teamwork.
