Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and reliable person who is committed to exceptional customer service. Someone with excellent interpersonal skills effectively communicating with customers. You will need a good standard of education and will want a position that offers a challenge and the use of initiative.
To fulfill the role of the Customer Service Assistant, you will have excellent communication skills and experience of dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis. You will also provide an efficient cashiering service to our customers. While customer service experience would be preferred, it is not essential as training will be provided to the successful candidate.
You will be expected to collaborate and support your colleagues across a broad range of tasks within the team.
The role will include:
* Communicating in clear, effective simple language to ensure effective communication is maintained with customers and team.
* Deepening customer relationships by providing products and services to customers that meet their current and future needs.
* Maintaining a focus on supporting the company brand, demonstrating the company’s values and behaviours at all times and leading by example.
* Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the company’s regulatory requirements and codes of practice.
* Adhering to all branch operational procedures and ensuring cash handling procedures are correctly followed at all times.
* Identifying customer complaints and promptly forwarding the information to the relevant Complaint Handler.
It is important that the successful candidate is confident to make sound judgments based on their proven skills and experience and has the ability to act on their own initiative.
