The role
requires experience in IFRS 15 but does not demand deep specialisation, as this will be supported by the Centre of Excellence. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt, particularly if they have strong business partnering skills but lack some technical experience, or vice versa.
Essential skills:
1. Must possess an Accountancy Qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or an international equivalent.
2. Experience in financial governance, month-end, and year-end processes.
3. Strong analytical skills, independent mindset, and ability to challenge senior stakeholders.
4. Experience facilitating and participating in external audit processes.
5. Proficiency in leveraging technology and MI to identify risks and improve reporting and processes.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with key stakeholders.
7. Experience with, or a demonstrated interest in, engaging with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and their applications in financial analysis and decision-making.
