1. Providing an effective general advisory support service to the business
2. Contribute to the smooth running of the HR department, providing HR advice on all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment and selection, employee relations and policy implementation in line with company practice
3. Providing HR advice and guidance to line managers on discipline, grievance, performance management and absence management
4. To ensure the appropriate implementation of company policies, procedures and practices.
5. Work closely with the payroll & department colleagues to maintain, communicate and ensure the effective running of the departments’ administration function.
6. Play a key role in department ad-hoc projects
The ideal candidate will have minimum level 5 or level 7 CIPD and solid Generalist HR advisory experience, be up-to-date in Employment law, HR policy and practice and be accustomed to maintaining a HR computerised database
