Team/Role Overview
This role sits within the Independentpliance Risk Management (ICRM) Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Business Execution team. The role holder will serve as a program lead for cross-Business Execution initiatives, Metrics and Analytics, and cross-functional initiatives.
The Business Execution Senior Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellentmunication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developedmunication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
What you will do
1. Participating in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-classpliance programs, policies and practices for ICRM.
2. Analysingplexparative data, preparing and presenting global reports related topliance risk management.
3. Reviewing materials to ensurepliance with various regulatory and legal requirements and to ensurepliance risks are appropriately identified and addressed.
4. Interacting and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary.
5. Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas.
6. Additional duties as assigned.
7. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision, and can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
8. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
9. Responsible for the management of significant projects may manage a department, product or process with a large amount of independence.
10. Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships with each.
11. Directs the creation of multiple projects of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
12. Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.
13. Directs themunication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
14. Directs the identification of risks which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
15. Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.
16. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by drivingpliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we will need from you
17. Previous experience within similar role within financial services
18. Technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resources
19. Knowledge ofpliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
20. Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
21. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels across aplex organisation
22. Superb written and verbalmunication and interpersonal skills
23. Advanced analytical skills; with proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
24. Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members
25. Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
Education
26. Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
