We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our young service users who have some complex clinical care needs.
We offer comprehensive training allowing you to enhance your experience of working with children by working in a more clinical role. Training can include but is not limited to;
1. Tracheostomy Care
2. Ventilation management
3. Personal Care
4. Moving & Handling
5. Gastrostomy Care (PEG feed)
Meet our service user
Our service user is a bright and energetic young girl who lives with her loving family in Blackburn and requires 1:1 support with her complex needs throughout the day and night.
She shows lots of independence and loves to interact with her family and care team. Her hobbies and interests include imaginative play with her toy kitchen, and dolls house and is very much a girly girl who enjoys exploring with her make up, painting her nails as well as pampering her care team.
As a family they often have fun days out visiting the local park and she particularly enjoys going shopping with Mum.
Throughout the night she tends to sleep well, your role will involve observing closely, attending to any clinical care requirements, and promoting a restful environment.
Our service user communicates through gestures, and the use of sign language and Makaton. It is important our care team become familiar with her methods of communication to ensure her wants and needs are met.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
It is essential for our candidates to have complex and clinical care experience working with children

Shifts Available
12. Full Time and Part Time
13. Days - 7:15am - 3:30pm
14. Nights- 10:00pm – 7:30am
15. Alternate weekends are essential for this position
Take a look out our pay rates
Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £107.25 per 8.25 hour shift)
Weeknights: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £147.25 per 9.5-hour shift)
Saturdays: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £147.25 per 9.5-hour shift)
Sundays: £16.50 per hour (Approx. £156.75 per 9.5-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £16.50 per hour (Approx. per £156.75 per 9.5 hour shift)
