MK College Group has an exciting new opportunity for a Warehousing tutor to join the team based at HMP Erlestoke. The role will involve delivery of a variety of Warehousing qualifications at level 1 and 2.
As a successful Warehousing Tutor, you will truly inspire learners and provide them with a positive learning experience. You will connect with learners in a professional manner, supporting them with their learning, enabling them to achieve success through qualifications, while also developing their confidence and softer skills applicable to employment and other areas of education.
We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with students to inspire and motivate them. The average class consists of 3 students, supported by a team of prison mentors and workshop technicians. Sessions are approximately 3 hours long, and your lessons will need to be adaptable, innovative, and imaginative.

ABOUT HMP ERLESTOKE
HMP Erlestoke is a Category C prison, holding approximately 444 adult male sentenced offenders. The prison is built on the former grounds of Erlestoke Manor House and has expanded in both offender numbers and intervention programmes. HMP Erlestoke’s focus is firmly fixed on reducing reoffending and preventing future victims of crime by preparing offenders for their release through accredited intervention programmes, skill and vocational based training, and education, in a pro-social environment.
Courses at HMP Erlestoke include Maths, English, IT, Horticulture, Carpentry, Cleaning and Support Services, Hospitality, Creative Craft, Customer Service, Team Leading, Learning Support, and much more.
The education delivery hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30 am – 11.30 am, 2.00 pm – 4.30 pm and on Fridays 8.30 am – 11.30 am.
Erlestoke staff and learners get involved with various projects each year. In 24/25 Erlestoke held an archaeological dig and a two-week Arts festival “Penned Up,” giving learners the opportunity to hear from authors, refreshing attitudes, thinking, and developing a focus on reading.
Erlestoke issues an internal magazine highlighting various events, projects, and support alongside articles, interviews, and shared experiences as well as promoting well-being and education.
