Join Thames Water as an experienced Asset Integration Engineer and play a vital role in the upkeep and expansion of our Waste Networks. As an Asset Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful and seamless integration of assets throughout the delivery process, safeguarding site, process, regulatory, and statutory requirements, and implementing changes required to operate the assets.
Your role is crucial to maintaining the quality of our projects. Working closely with our contractor stakeholders, you will ensure that all processes are followed to ensure health and safety are of the utmost importance.

What you’ll be doing as an Asset Integration Engineer
1. Monitor compliance with environmental requirements in asset design, delivery, and testing; monitor delivery performance; and work with contractors to address issues and improve.
2. Ensure health and safety are at the forefront of everything completed on our sites.
3. Supporting contractor and Operations liaison during the design process, promoting innovation, best practice, and compliance with quality standards; planning for commissioning as part of the design process, system integration, operability, and maintainability.
4. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Overseeing and being included in all projects to ensure everything is completed correctly and to Thames Water standards.
Hybrid – Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works, but we can be flexible on another base location in the Thames Water patch.
36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Must have a driving licence and access to a car.
What you should bring to the role
6. HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or significant experience in a similar role.
7. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or SMSTS.
8. Understanding of the development of design, construction, and operation of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
9. Analytical and problem-solving skills.

10. Competitive salary from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum.
11. 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
12. Car Allowance of £4,500 per annum.
13. Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
