We are looking for an enthusiastic IT SupportApprentice to join our expanding IT Team in our Lockington headoffice (Near Derby). We are seeking talented individuals to helpsupport the continued growth of the practice working with alldisciplines across our four offices.
FPCR areone of the countrys leading awardwinning multidisciplinaryenvironmental design practices established for over 60 years.
Our Lockington office is far from your normaloffice based in a 17th Century Grade 2 listed manor house convertedinto offices which comes with its own unique challenges for ITsystems. Due to the remote nature of our office having your owntransport is recommended.
TypicalDuties Might Include:
* Being the first pointof contact for our staff
* Escalating calls whereappropriate
* Assisting inlarger projects (This may include some travel and out of hourswork)
* Ensuring timelyresolution of problems
* Creating knowledgebasedocuments for repeat problems
* Assisting new staff withtechnology on their first day
To be successful inthe role you will need to demonstrate the following capabilitiesand experience:
* Astrong interest in IT
* Ability to work in a Team
* Desire and ability tolearn quickly
* Beapproachable and friendly
* Confidence speaking withpeople
* Personal ITExperience
* 5x A* C / 9 5GCSE or Equivalent
Thefollowing would be beneficial:
* Previous experienceworking in IT
* Experiencewith network equipment
* Any relevant ITqualifications
* Programming experience(Any languages beneficial)
