Long Term Futures is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant primary school in East Croydon (CR7). This role focuses on providing behaviour management and SEN support to a Year 4 student, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and thrive both socially and academically.
If you have experience in behaviour management and SEN support, and are passionate about making a difference in a primary school setting, this is the perfect role for you. Starting in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 student, focusing on tailored behaviour management strategies
Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver personalised learning plans and SEN support
Use effective behaviour management techniques to promote positive learning habits and engagement
Support the student with their emotional and social development, building resilience and confidenceAbout the School:

Experience in behaviour management and providing SEN support, ideally in a primary school setting
Hold the relevant teaching qualification.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children who have additional needs
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies
