Senior Recruitment Consultant – Heysham

We are looking for someone who has:
3+ years’ experience working as a Senior or Consultant within recruitment industry, ideally within the Engineering Sector or similar.
Working knowledge of recruitment legislation such as GDPR, AWR, WTD, IR35 and PAYE/ Umbrella/CIS/Ltd Payment methods.
A positive, proactive and motivated attitude towards development and growth of our existing Clients.
Effective communication skills, evidencing an ability to build relationships with both candidates and clients.
A process driven ability to manage conflicting priorities and positive attitude working towards achievement of KPIs.
IT skills, with working knowledge of CRMs, Office 365 e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
An openness to progressing into business development and new sales.
Experience with Vincere CRM is desirable, but not essential.

About the Senior Recruitment Consultant role:
Within this role, you will specialise in recruiting primarily contract staff for a growing client base within the Engineering Sector. This is an initial 180-role involving the management of your own workload from sourcing through to placement, suiting individuals who have previously recruited staff within the Engineering Sector, or similar with an opportunity to expand into a 360 role, in line with our business strategy.
At Senior Consultant level, you will be responsible for servicing and growing existing client accounts, managing both clients and candidates via activities including, but not limited to:
Posting job adverts and responding to incoming job applications
Sourcing and qualifying candidates, matching skillsets to vacancies
Qualifying candidates against SQEP requirements
Management of existing Clients accounts
Being proactive in the market to build talent pools for live and future vacancies
Scheduling interviews and booking contractors in for work
Attending site and client visits to build new and strengthen existing relationships
Collaborate with the recruitment team on large projects ensuring that deadlines and KPIs are met
Ensuring that the internal CRM is updated with all recruitment activity
Using recruitment tools such as internal databases, job boards, talent sourcing tools and LinkedIn
Ensuring KPIs are met only a weekly basis including CVs sent, interviews booked, offers received and placements made
Promoting company values and contributing towards a professional and positive office environment
