What are your key duties as a CNC Machinist?
Setting and Operating 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines to produce fine tolerance parts
Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to work from
Inspecting all machined components and using measuring equipment to ensure all parts are produced to tolerance
Recording all operations onto a bespoke system
Cleaning down your workstation, working to Health and Safety standards and regulations
Working closely with the Design and Engineering teams
Troubleshooting any issues with your CNC Machine
What will make you the perfect CNC Machinist?
Fundamental knowledge of Engineering Principles
Genuine interest in the industry
A desire to develop your engineering skillset and knowledge
CNC Setter/Operator experience
Great ability to work as an active member of a team
Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship
Excellent time management
