RAC have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Graphic Designer to join our Creative Studio in Bristol. Working alongside our existing team of designers, copywriters, content editors and UX consultants, whilst playing a key role in the ongoing development of this much-loved brand and taking our creative execution forward. This permanent role will be delivered on a flexible hybrid model of working three days from home and two days at our Bradley Stoke office.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in the world of Graphic Design reporting into the Senior Designer and supporting the RAC Digital, Brand and wider marketing teams. Our studio works at a fast pace and is run on an agency model way of working, which gives everyone great opportunities to produce great work and learn new things.
The successful candidate will be working closely with our brand and comms team to align offline and online propositions, while also maintaining consistency of RAC visual design across all channels.
What You’ll do…
1. Work closely with RAC copywriters, UX, content team and other designers to align offline and online propositions and messaging
2. Work closely with internal teams to maintain strong consistency of RAC visual design across all channels
3. To support the design team.
4. To have a drive to learn, develop and become a brilliant new vital talent in the team.
5. Provide services and skills to better the RAC marketing materials and customer experience
6. To design using wireframes/ prototypes and design concepts
7. Create print and digital design assets and know the difference between them.
What You’ll Need…
8. Our Creative Studio can get very busy with new campaigns, so we’re looking for a team player and someone who’ll thrive and be able to think of exciting new ideas and develop and execute them successfully.
9. You will have a passion for creating great design and a obsessession over design details.
10. Be self-motivated and can work to tight deadlines and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
11. We are looking for knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with experience in After Effects and Figma desirable, and be able to show evidence in your portfolio of well thought out design projects from starting sketched thoughts to finished / polished work.
12. A keen interest in designing websites and understanding the digital marketing tools, methods and processes.
