Position: SHEQ Officer/Advisor
Location: Kegworth
Salary: Up to £50,000 plus package
A leading Civil Engineering and Building company is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Officer/Advisor. This role is pivotal, overseeing and implementing SHEQ procedures, assisting with pre-site preparation, and conducting on-site audits. The successful candidate will work closely with site teams across the East Midlands and the office in Kegworth to ensure safe project delivery in compliance with current legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
·Conduct SHEQ site inspections and audits.
·Support site teams with the preparation and review of paperwork, including Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Inductions, and Toolbox Talks.
·Develop and review pre-start SHEQ plans and site files.
·Assist with the administration of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, & ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001).
·Support incident reporting, investigation, and accident trend analysis.
·Attend all relevant training and identify further training needs through trend analysis.
·Assist in maintaining various Health & Safety Accreditations.
·Monitor on-site Sub-Contractors.
·Attend SHEQ and site meetings.
·Perform any other duties as required.
