Become a Revenue Reporting Accountant within our AT&T Controller team, part of AT&T’s Finance organisation, who is responsible for all Financial and Management Reporting, Accounting operations, Regulatory Reporting, Accounting Policy, Capital Services and Business Planning.
Due to a recent reorganisation, we are continuing to expand our International Centre of Excellence based in our new office location in Studley, near Birmingham.The team supports entities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as well as Canada and Latin America (CALA).
The available position is within the International Revenue Controllers team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for accounting adjustments to revenue and related accounts in MOW regions. The role provides interaction with the wider Controllers group, CFO and Regulatory teams. The team is responsible for all revenue accounting for over 70 AT&T legal entities spread across more than 50 countries in the EMEA and CALA regions, including monthly reporting of financials to group.
Work Content and Responsibilities
1. Work with the International Revenue Reporting manager to ensure that monthly reporting according to US GAAP and is completed in a timely manner.
2. Review and challenge the monthly results. Identify anomalies and collaborate with other teams to identify reasons and ensure any appropriate adjustments are posted. To ensure the integrity of the MOW revenue results at a legal entity level.
3. Produce commentary on the monthly revenue results.
4. Compile documentation to support the external auditors’ review of revenue results where required, using relevant accounting standards. Interface directly with the auditors to answer any queries or additional review requests they may have.
5. Responsible for accurate completion of regulatory and statistical returns, and ensuring they are filed within the legal deadlines.
6. Ad hoc project work.
Required skills and experience
7. Qualified or part qualified accountant.
8. Knowledge of AT&T’s reporting processes and financial systems preferable.
9. Ability to work to a tight timetable and maintain high quality output.
10. Team player, but able to work under own initiative. Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
11. Knowledge of US GAAP not a pre-requisite.

13. Location : Studley, near Birmingham. This is a hybrid-flex worker position where our preference is to be present in the office 2 times per week. During the initial training period, we would expect you to spend more time in the office as you build your knowledge and get to know the team.
14. Salary : Basic salary starting from £41,900 per annum gross, plus benefits. The actual offered salary may be higher based on your skills, knowledge, and experience.
