About Canterbury Cathedral
Canterbury Cathedral is the cathedral of the archbishop of Canterbury, the leader of the Church of England and symbolic leader of the worldwide Anglican Communion. Located in Canterbury, Kent, it is one of the oldest Christian structures in England and forms part of a World Heritage Site.
We are looking to recruit a Data Analyst responsible for collating and analysing data from a variety of sources (accounting, P.O.S, stock control, diary management, events, fundraising and ticketing) and develop a formal data strategy, featuring centralised data sources and robust governance ensuring data quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities will include, assisting the IT Manager to gather core data and complete data flows, drafting KPIs to monitor delivery of the Cathedrals Strategic Plan and ongoing performance, analyse data, create reports, and implement data validation practice, support project administration and attend regular project team meetings.
The Ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis and management, be proficient in data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau). Have strong knowledge with reporting packages, such as Power BI and statistical packages. Can communicate on all levels.
