Role:
1. Work under the ICT category, managing projects at both a strategic and operational level
2. Lead on tendering exercises, ensuring full compliance with public contract regulations and organisational policies/procedures
3. Utilise frameworks for direct awards and mini competitions
4. Liaise with senior level stakeholders
5. Proactively develop and maintain specialist category knowledge and have an awareness of constantly changing markets
6. Identify opportunities for cost savings
Person:
7. Direct experience in IT category is essential
8. Previous experience in the Public Sector
9. Has previously operated at a strategic level in procurement
10. Strong stakeholder management experience
11. CIPS desirable
