Shift: 2 shifts - 6 AM-2:15 PM – Rotating 2:15 PM-10 PM
Job Responsibilities:
The operator is involved in the general day to day running of the distribution centre on a shift pattern based on business needs, this includes:
* Forklift truck operation – counterbalance, reach truck & VNA.
* Loading & unloading of vehicles.
* Picking & processing customer sales orders.
* Maintaining supply to production.
* Goods receiving of inbound deliveries, including control of pharmaceutical materials.
* Continuous use of WMS (D365).
* Maintaining a high level of compliance (GMP/GDP).
* Maintaining a high level of safety.
* Support production and other areas to ensure priorities are understood and maintained.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Good standard of English and Maths (Minimum GCSE Level 4 / grade C or equivalent).
* Forklift licences from an affiliated body (e.g. Jungheinrich, Mentor).
* Good communication, influencing and team working skills.
* Can think problems through in a logical and analytical manner.
* Self-driven, proactive, with a continuous-improvement mindset.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
* Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Working within a distribution centre.
* Experience of using a Warehouse Management System (ideally Microsoft Dynamic 365).
* Understanding of the requirements of GMP/GDP.
