Job summary
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team part time who is committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. You will be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care & services. This is a remote working position, enthusiasm and flexibility are essential.
This role is for 15 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be to support our GPs and Clinical Pharmacist assisting with medical reviews, CQC searches and liaising with hospitals, pharmacies and patients

Job responsibilities
-To support the pharmacist with medicines reconciliation in accordance with practice protocols and to update patients medical records / prescribing accordingly ;
-Supporting the practice based pharmacist to provide medication reviews and Structure Medication reviews;
-Supporting, as determined by the PCN, medication reviews and medicines reconciliation for new care home patients and synchronising medicines for patient transfers between care settings and linking with local community pharmacists.
-Assisting in the delivery of medicines optimisation and management incentive schemes and patient safety audits in line with CQC search criteria.
- Support the PCN and practiceto deliver on DES specifications, QOF and other locally commissioned enhanced services
-Duties in line with scope of practice to support demand and rapid change of general practice.

Qualifications
Essential
1. BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences
2. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
3. Demonstrable commitment to professional development
Experience

4. Experience of Microsoft Office software
5. Advanced numeracy skills to GCSE Level C or above
6. Excellent keyboard and computer skills including use of Microsoft Office
7. Demonstrable excellent communication skills
8. An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality
9. Ability to use own judgement, resourcefulness and common sense
10. Willingness to be trained and developed
11. Experience of dealing with the public/patients
