Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our prestigious client based in the Shaftesbury area who are recruiting for a Risk and Compliance Manager (legal) on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. In this varied role you will be responsible for compliance and financial risk management within the firm.
2. Day to day compliance management, mitigating and managing risk.
3. Ensuring regulatory obligations are upheld and professional practice standards remain compliant.
4. Designing and implementing policies and procedures.
5. Compliance reporting.
6. Management of the Firm's Quality marks.
What you will need to succeed:
1. Previous compliance and risk management within the legal sector is essential.
2. Knowledge of SAR and AML as well as other relevant legal, financial and data protection legislation and frameworks.
3. First rate communication skills at all levels together with a hands-on, positive approach.
4. The ability to prioritise with excellent attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and practice management systems is also essential.
