Responsibilities:
1. HR Expertise : As the go-to resource, you’ll provide expert guidance on SCJ’s HR policies and processes. Employees and line managers will rely on your insights to navigate a variety of HR matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
2. Employee Relations : Balancing legal compliance, employee advocacy, and business partnership, you’ll be the trusted advisor for all things related to employee relations.
3. Engagement Architect : Dive into our inspired experiences calendar and well-being agenda. From site-wide celebrations to wellness events, you’ll create an environment where employees thrive.
4. Performance Culture : Implement global and regional initiatives to build a high-performance culture. Our performance management process will be in your capable hands.
5. Operational Excellence : From seamless onboarding to day-to-day operations, you’ll ensure our HR processes run smoothly, supporting our entire team. You will be the lead with our HR operations team finding solutions, improving our processes and maximising those moments that matter
6. Project Leadership : Take charge of key HR projects—whether it’s change management, diversity initiatives, or strategic support for the business.
7. Talent Management : You’ll collaborate closely with our Talent Acquisition team and line managers throughout the talent lifecycle. Your role? To match the right talent with the right opportunities, fostering growth and success.
Experience you’ll bring:
8. HR Generalist Experience:Ideally in a large corporate environment, with a focus on FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).Experience of managing Grievances, Disciplinary, Absence and performance Management
9. Recruitment Management:Proficiency in managing recruitment processes.Collaborating with line managers to build a robust talent pipeline.
10. Education:Ideally studying or having studied CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).
11. Legal Knowledge:Sound understanding of UK employment law.
