Carbon60 are working with a global advisory and pensions consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Pension Analyst to join them on a contract basis.
Job Overview
Supporting on a range of key projects, including analysing data in excel, creating calculation pro forma, producing test packs for automation changes, and testing and signing off calculation changes.
Primary Responsibilities
* Understand and communicate data issues/cleanse requirements.
* Monitor and provide updates on specific tasks within projects.
* In conjunction with the Team Leader, ensure that all delivery promises and performance standards are achieved.
* Challenge procedures to identify process improvements.
* Assist in due diligence exercises, analysing data quality, identifying data issues, and proposing solutions.
* Work with the Team Leader to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience of dealing with occupational pension schemes - Defined Benefit (DB) is a must .
* Advanced Excel knowledge is essential.
* Strong data analysis and manipulation skills.
* New installs/big scheme changes.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
Contract Specifics
* Duration: 6-months initially until May 2025, with possibility of extension(s).
* Rate: £350-£400 per day (Inside IR35).
* Office Location: Leeds.
* Working Flex: Predominantly remote working, with up to 3 times per month in Leeds.
