Marketplace is a brand-new online venture for Tesco, designed to give our customers the opportunity to use our website to shop for a wide range of third-party products, in addition to the groceries they already know and love. Life on the team
As someone who is passionate about supporting and implementing and maintaining legal activities, you will be committed to being the bridge between marketplace colleagues and the legal team. The key to the Marketplace team's success will be its ability to work with many other teams in the wider Tesco family, including Finance, Digital Product and Online Operations. No two days will be the same as you become an expert in your area of the Marketplace model. We're building Tesco's future, and it's a future shaped by you.

You will be responsible for
1. Being the go-to-person for all legal questions from Marketplace (including competition, contract, marketing, online regulations, privacy, deliveries, etc)
2. Responding to questions for which legal position had been established and collaborate closely with the relevant lawyers to acquire advice on new queries
3. Helping develop and maintain FAQs for Marketplace, Product, Marketing, dunnhumby and Sellers as well as any additional guidance notes and communication based on questions and issues identified by colleagues within the business.
4. Helping develop the e-learning content and work with the e-learning service provider to build a new starter/micro learning modules (with input from the legal team on content
5. Ensuring that the relevant colleagues receive new starter and refresher training/briefing notes across the business. Working with the training team to identify the exact audience and ensuring that records of training and declarations are kept.
6. Managing regular Marketplace/Legal meetings and agenda points.
7. Maintaining the Marketplace compliance SharePoint site.
8. Managing Seller due diligence process
9. Supporting Marketplace and Legal in reporting to audits, assurance activities and risk committees.
You will need
10. Working in a compliance role at a similar seniority
11. Experience in collaborating across different functions and multiple collaborators
12. Knowledge of the due diligence process
