We are seeking a passionate Psychology Graduate to work as a Behaviour Mentor in a supportive team at a Secondary School in Tower Hamlets, London. Key responsibilities include working with children with SEMH. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in this field and a strong understanding of Psychology principles. Key skills include:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with children with SEMH
• Strong understanding of Psychology principles
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support children with SEMH. The role will involve:
• Working one-to-one with children to develop strategies to manage their behaviour
• Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement behaviour plans
• Providing support and guidance to children to help them manage their emotions and behaviour
• Maintaining accurate records of children’s progress and behaviour
