We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Operations Manager to oversee and manage multiple client sites across [Insert Region], ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
Oversee the daily operations of multiple sites within your designated area, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality services.Develop and implement operational strategies that drive performance and enhance service delivery.Ensure all facilities meet contractual and service level agreements (SLAs).
2. Team Management:
Lead, coach, and support on-site managers and teams to ensure optimal performance and staff development.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any operational issues or concerns.Ensure all teams are compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Act as the main point of contact for clients within your area, building strong, long-lasting relationships.Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities to improve service levels.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
4. Budget and Financial Management:
Manage budgets for all sites in your area, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.Monitor financial performance, control costs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.Prepare financial and operational reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
5. Contract and Compliance Management:
Ensure all services are delivered in line with contractual obligations and industry regulations.Implement and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure standards are upheld across all sites.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and implement best practices.Lead initiatives that drive operational efficiency, sustainability, and innovation within your area.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback from staff and clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
7. Proven experience as an Area or Regional Operations Manager, preferably within the facilities management, hospitality, or service industries.
8. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing multiple sites.
9. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
10. Strong client relationship management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
11. Good financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
12. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and operational compliance.
Education and Experience:
13. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).
14. Minimum of [X] years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes across multiple sites.
