We have an exciting opportunity to join the Dispensary as a Senior Pharmacy Assistant. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to assist with the dispensing of medication for our inpatient, outpatient, discharge and Controlled Drug prescriptions. You will assist the Technician in the smooth running of the Dispensary. This will be achieved by liaising with the wider multidisciplinary team, supervising and assisting with the training of junior staff and carry out a final accuracy check of medications.
Consideration will be given for strong candidates who may not meet the essential criteria to undertake this role on a developmental basis with set competency targets. Roles offered on a developmental basis will be banded lower (band 2) than originally advertised until competency targets are met.
Any successful applicant will be expected to participle in flexible working which will include weekend, late duty and Bank Holiday rotas.
