Qualification
Essential criteria
1. Current registration with relevant professional body
2. Degree qualification
3. English at GCSE grade C or Functional Skill Level 2 & Maths at GCSE grade C or Functional Skill Level 2
4. Recognised mentoring qualification or equivalent experience
5. Expectation to undertake Enhanced Practice qualification or equivalent.
6. Demonstrates evidence of on-going continuous professional development.
Desirable criteria
7. Diploma level training or equivalent in specialist area.
Experience
Essential criteria
8. Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of best practice, particularly within specialty area and the application of this in practice
9. Experience of managing change as part of service and practice development.
10. Demonstrates ability to apply research-based practice and advocate it to improve the quality of patient clinical assessment and management.
11. Experience of supervising, teaching, mentoring and developing staff.
12. Experience of implementing, commenting on and proposing changes to policies and protocols.
13. Able to demonstrate ability to deliver training and education to patients.
14. Able to accept responsibility for working under own initiative within boundaries of role.
15. Demonstrates commitment to working as part of a team and ability to build the team.
