PAT Tester - Kensington
A competitive base salary with fantastic overall earnings potential (based on weekly targets). We also offer overtime and weekend work which is readily available which is paid at a premium rate per test.
We don’t require our PAT engineers to be experienced, however an enthusiastic attitude to learn is required, we will provide all the training you need. We will provide you with a company vehicle which can be used for personal use if you opt into this and all the equipment that you need will be issued.

A day in the life of a PAT Tester at phs:
12. Traveling to customer sites to carry out Portable Appliance testing.
13. Completing tests on portable appliances within our customers premises.
14. Complete and produce results daily which meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies.
15. Representing phs Compliance, offering positive customer service and being the face of the company.
16. As a Test Engineer you will be required to ensure that a professional service is delivered in a safe and timely manner on our client’s sites. In the main this will be achieved in normal working hours which is a 40-hr week on site but there may be occasions when there is a requirement to work out of hours dependent on the type of site and clients’ requirements.
The ideal candidate for a PAT Tester at phs will have:
17. Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points
18. The flexibility to work outside core 9-5 hours and 8 hours on site.
19. C&G 2377 qualification preferable but not essential due to full training provided.
20. The ability to spend long periods of time completing manual work.
21. Have the ability to adapt to different environments and customers on a daily basis.
22. Basic IT, numeracy, literacy skills and good communications skills.
23. A desire to pursue a career within an electrical industry.
