Long Term Futures are currently working alongside a mainstream primary school and we are seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work with children in years 5 and 6 on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis to ensure ongoing social and academic development and act as a role model to ensure positive behaviour amongst peers.
Daily tasks will include:
* Collaborate and work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver the primary curriculum in classroom environments.
* Provide 1:1 and 2:1 assistance to students with SEMH Needs across years 5 and 6.
* Design stimulating and engaging learning and play environments for children across the primary school.
* Closely work with the class teacher to help deliver a specialised curriculum to the students.
* Report and monitor the student's progress.
