Working as part of the QA Projects team, to deliver current and future projects. Responsible for the delivery of allocated New Product Introduction KPI’s (Electrode, Cell, Module, Pack) from customer engagement all the way through to SOP. We are looking to build on our AQE Engineering team in order to support the development and operation of a world class and innovative mass manufacturing Gigafactory. Responsibilities: Be responsible for all NPI deliverables for your assigned area (electrode, cell, module, pack) Prepare documentation meeting Customer & Project key milestones following APQP approach Collaborate with global teams on development of test plans and horizontal deployment of global items. Produce and implement product validation plans during equipment commissioning & QC. Analyze quality data, perform statistical analysis, and generate reports to track trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance product quality. Participate in the design and development of new products or processes, providing input on quality requirements, specifications, and validation plans. Conduct risk assessments and participate in failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Responsible for generating, reviewing and improving Control Plans through the various stages of APQP Lead or contribute to root cause analysis investigations to determine the underlying causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions Establish and drive thorough inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to identify defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality standards. Coach, mentor and develop junior members of the Quality Engineering Team Experience and Qualifications Required: Educated to minimum Degree level in an appropriate technical subject. 5 years’ experience in a quality role, preferably involved in new product introduction activities. New Product Introduction experience included Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) Knowledge of quality principles, methodologies, and tools, such as FMEA’s, Control Plans, Test Plans etc… Ability to analyze, interpret and present data to make quantitative decisions Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively convey quality-related information to stakeholders. Flexibility to work and travel (including overseas) at short notice.
