Health Safety & Environment Manager - Oxfordshire/Hybrid
Austin Fraser is currently supporting an innovative and growing manufacturing organisation who are looking for an experienced Health Safety & Environment Manager in Oxfordshire.
They are looking for this individual to play a key role in shaping and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management across the organisation, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent certification required.
* Experience in Health Safety and Environmental Management systems and procedures.
* Previous experience of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or OHSAS 18001.
* Experience with safe working practices including conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
* A good understanding with current legislation and its impact on the business
* Proficiency in health and safety management software and MS Office Suite.
* Competent in developing systems and procedures.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, HSE).
Additional Information:
* The role will require occasional travel between sites.
* The HSE Manager will oversee two direct reports and support the executive team in HS&E matters.
