Electrical Project Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Sphere Solutions Ltd in Port Talbot. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading electrical projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing large-scale electrical projects in the steel industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing all aspects of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and deliver electrical projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning
* Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
* Coordinate with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Oversee project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
* Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
* Participate in bid evaluations and tender processes
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager who can demonstrate a strong track record of delivering complex projects in the steel industry. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in electrical engineering or a related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the steel industry
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
