Role Overview
As a Paint Technician, you'll play a key role in restoring vehicles to their original condition. Your responsibilities will include preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles with precision and excellence, ensuring every job meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
13. Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming.
14. Accurately mix paint colours to match the original vehicle using advanced colour-matching techniques.
15. Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns, ensuring an even, flawless finish.
16. Perform minor bodywork repairs as needed before painting.
17. Inspect and polish finished paintwork to achieve a high-quality, factory-standard finish.
18. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
19. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Requirements
20. Proven experience as a Paint Technician in the automotive repair industry.
21. Extensive knowledge of paint application processes and techniques.
22. Strong ability to mix and match colours accurately.
23. High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
24. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations related to painting and refinishing.
25. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
26. Relevant qualifications in automotive painting or refinishing (., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
