Our client is a PE backed, high growth business, based in Stratford-Upon-Avon, seeking a number two in Finance to join the Finance function.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Crafting monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate completion
2. Analysing monthly forecasts, KPIs, and providing insightful commentary on variances
3. Taking ownership of accounting entries and monthly control account reconciliations
4. Managing and supporting the staff handling purchase and sales ledgers, tackling any overdue balances together
5. Preparing and submitting VAT returns and overseeing the production of payroll, including PAYE and pension submissions
6. Assisting in the creation of quarterly budgets and maintaining day-to-day financial processes to keep the department running smoothly
7. Building strong inter-departmental relationships, ensuring the finance department operates effectively
The successful Finance Manager will have the following experience:
8. Ideally hold an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or be nearly qualified
9. Experienced in management accounts with the technical skills to match
10. Someone who thrives under pressure and can meet monthly deadlines with a smile
11. A problem solver with a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively
12. Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
As Finance Manager, you will be entitled to the following:
13. £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
14. Permanent Contract
