Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Echocardiographer to join our team. The successful candidate must be BSE accredited and competent to issue independent echo reports, providing teaching for medical and physiologist staff. You will have BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, registration and ILS / ALS.

1. Completion of MSc Scientist Training Programme (STP) or equivalent ( BSc in Clinical Physiology or HTEC MPPM with SCST Parts I and II)
2. Relevant Masters Degree or equivalent - Certified Echocardiographer, holding current British Society of Echocardiography accreditation
3. Registered with RCCP
4. ILS

7. Experience of autonomous scanning and reporting of Echocardiograms post qualification
8. Able to utilise specialist and technical knowledge of cardiac ultrasound in line with evidence based practice
9. Able to utilise specialist and technical knowledge of a range of cardiac ultrasound machines / reporting systems

10. Ability to work as an independent practitioner within echocardiography
