We're looking for a Site Manager to join our UKPNteam based inCrawley,
The post is established in support of the UKPower Networks ED1SON Alliance, comprising UKPN, Morrison UtilityServices, Clancy Docwra and Kier Utilities. The Alliance is chargedwith delivering a £1bn programme in the 2023-2028 ED2 regulatoryperiod. Kier Utilities has been appointed to undertake cable andelectrical infrastructure projects across the Southern and EasternPower Networks (SPN & EPN).
Location:Crawley, West Sussex - Southern PowerNetworks
Hours: 45 hours perweek
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000per year
What will you be responsiblefor?
The Site Manager will be responsible for on site deliveryof electrical infrastructure upgrades and installations for UKPN. You will ensure the implementation of health and safetypolicies and procedures and be responsible for the site delivery ofprojects to the correct standards. You'll liaise with theCommercial Team to produce financial forecasts and final cost andvalue reviews and manage Subcontracts. You'll have a proventrack record of successfully managing a project with strongleadership, management and problem-solvingabilities.
Your day to day will include:
* Responsible for the safe deliveryof significant and potentially complex projects to qualitystandards and in line budget and programme.
* Use Airline and Novade(specialists H&S software) to complete weekly inspections andincident reporting. Contribute to the investigation of incidents onsite.
* Ensure Inductions, RAMS briefings and TBT are completedand that all persons are competent for the tasks beingundertaken.
* Hold the Principal Contractor responsibility where Kierare appointed under the CDM Regulations, Coordinating the safeactivities of everyone on site (e.g. subcontractors, designers,UKPN staff, etc.)
Development of quality plans inaccordance with specifications ensuring implementation of ITPs,Record Sheets, NCRs and Defects.

* Sound knowledge and understanding of NEC3 Contractsincluding Early Warning Notices and CompensationEvents
* Proven experience in a similarrole.
* CSCS/EUSR and SMSTS holder
