Your new roleIn your new job as a Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher, you will deliver engaging intervention sessions to whole classes, small-groups and on a 1:1 basis to pupils in Year 5 and Year 6. This role may require planning and marking or the work may be set by the class teacher, depending on each school's needs. An essential part of your new job will be monitoring and tracking pupil progression as they prepare for their SATs. You will be working collaboratively with other Teachers and Teaching Assistants to provide an excellent standard of student engagement, development and learning in order to prepare pupils for their next steps into Secondary School.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in your new position, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and you will have experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2.
