Job summary
We have an excitingvacancy for an admin coordinator to join our team working across our ExtendedPrimary Integrated Care Services (EPIC). This is a part-time role working 30 hours/week covering shifts between 8am-6:30pm.
The rolewithin EPIC provides support for planned and urgent care services as well asPrimary Care Network Support. The team work together to ensure that tasks arecarried out to the required deadlines; to support patient care and populationhealth across neighbourhoods in Salford. The team has to respond to changingcircumstances and a positive and flexible approach is required includingchanging locations the post holder may need to work from at short notice. Thepost holder organises their work and manages their time autonomously andeffectively to ensure that alltasks are completed within the requiredtimescales. EPIC24 works under the direction of the Primary Care Networks andin delivering Salford CCG Urgent Care contracts.
Main duties of the job
Our admin coordinator will be responsiblefor the efficient and effective operation of the administrative systems that are pivotal to the daily running of these services. Tasks could include monitoring stock levels, supporting clinicians with data inputting, monitoring of the service email inbox, responding to and collaborating to support requests, telephone calls to colleagues & patients and monitoring clinical systems to escalate issues where appropriate.

Job responsibilities
Duties to include;
1. To monitor and maintain stock levels across sites.
2. Supporting clinicians to deliver the care and support to patients; this could include supporting them in an emergency for example to call an ambulance or a family member.
3. Prepare correspondence in accordance with policy and ensuring all service needs are met.
4. Liaise with team members via email or telephone as required where necessary to address any problems.
5. Support administrative tasks within the office setting to support the service/s/ this may include printing, emailing, producing rotas, preparing papers for the team to go out with and handling referrals from the email and clinical systems.
6. Make comfort calls to patients waiting in the emergency department.
7. Monitor clinical systems including EMIS & Adastra to ensure smooth running of the services and escalating issues where appropriate to the relevant service manager.
8. Supporting clinicians to deliver the care and support to patients; this could include supporting them in an emergency for example to call an ambulance or a family member.
9. Keep up to date and refreshed the admin documentation at the bases / offices contact numbers, new guidance etc
10. Support colleagues in the delivery of the daily care from the teams.
11. Support new staff induction to the EPIC services portfolio.
12. Any other duty required to support the effective operation of these systems.
13. To develop and maintain relationships across Salford organisations, and promoting, improving and maintaining collaboration throughout the Health & Care system.
14. To confidently communicate with people on matters arising, issues and ideas.
15. Liaise with members of SPCT, Primary Health Care Team, other NHS organisations and outside agencies as appropriate to the role.
16. Participate in meetings as appropriate.
17. To work in partnership with others to help develop and implement ideas, and policies which will promote efficiency and wellbeing of the service delivery.

18. A sound general education to GCSE level or equivalent, or equivalent working experience, or relevant qualifications
19. Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
