My client is a large manufacturing organisation based in South Wales with a headcount of circa 380 staff and over 60 years of business experience, they work hard to sustainably manufacture household items. They are now looking for an HR Manager to join their team in Maesteg on a Permanent Basis, which is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for implementing change.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for, but not subject to the following:
1. Be direct leadership of the plant HR Team (HR Officer and HR Administrator)
2. HR Business Partner the manufacturing site but understanding the needs and HR requirements
3. Develop and implement thepany policies, procedures and processes.
4. Manage the recruitment process of the manufacturing site
5. Support the finance team to ensure they have the correct information, such as overtime, to ensure correct payment throughout the organisation.
6. Transformation projects such as implementing new processes and systems, employee engagement and ED&I initiatives.
7. Conversing and negotiations with unions
8. Working closely with the senior leadership team.
What you'll need to succeed
9. You will need to be CIPD qualified or have extensive experience in a senior HR position with strategic and transformational experience.
10. Manufacturing experience is required.
11. You will need to be confident and have experience dealing with unions.
12. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills are required.
13. You need to befortable working on-site 5 days per week.
