Key Responsibilities
1. Production/review of all month end consolidation adjustments for the Hastings Insurance Group with adherence to IFRS17.
2. Calculations of share-based payments charges and liabilities.
3. Production/review of month end journals for Hastings and all holding entities within the Group, including accruals and provisions.
4. Working closely with Financial Planning & Analysis team to finalise month end results.
5. Production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, providing insightful commentary into movements and ownership of specific balance sheet area and leadership of related monthly control meetings.
6. Provision of data to external auditors.
Skills We Would Love You to Have
1. ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified.
2. Ability to analyse, summarise and insightfully comment upon data.
3. Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
4. Excellent reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
