Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children in Early Years, ideally within an educational setting.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and group support to children, helping them with early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills development.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining an attractive and engaging learning environment.
• Help to assess children’s progress, celebrating their achievements and identifying areas for further support.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support the emotional well-being of the children.
