We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Accounts Department on a part time, permanent basis at our site in Pineham, Northampton.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Posting invoices to match booking in receipts for stock;
2. There is an element of non-stock PL invoice posting;
3. All invoices need Nominal Ledger coding before posting;
4. Getting statements from suppliers;
5. Reconciling statements to our ledger and chasing for any missing invoices;
6. Creating payment runs for PL.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
1. Purchase ledger experience;
2. Experience of SAGE200 desirable but not essential;
3. Ability to work to deadlines;
4. Methodical with excellent attention to detail.
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Part time 23.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 09:30-14:30 and Friday 09:30-13:00;
2. Starting at £13.00 per hour (£15,886.00 per annum);
3. Start date ASAP.
