The successful candidate will support the Recruitment Officer in managing the recruitment process at MidKent College, ensuring the best outcomes for our students and a smooth, positive experience for applicantsfrom identifying hiring needs to extending offers and assisting with onboarding. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to navigate multiple systems and manage several roles simultaneously. Key responsibilities will include: ensuring job adverts are accurate and posted promptly, collaborating with hiring managers to gather information and schedule interviews, responding to candidate inquiries in a timely manner, and ensuring pre-interview paperwork is received and reviewed in compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Support the People Officer Recruitment in their role, including the ongoing development of the new Applicant Tracking system and its integration with HR systems, ensuring College processes are met and managers and staff are fully trained in any aspects that are introduced.
2. Deliver the staff recruitment and advertising process for the College in accordance with the College establishment, including checking authorisations, writing and placing adverts, organising interview and assessment centres, creating interview and assessment schedules and liaising with recruitment agencies, supporting recruitment events both inside and o...
