Job Duties:
The English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring and educational support to Key Stage 3 students in the subject areas of English and Maths. Duties include preparing and delivering engaging and interactive lessons, assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and adapting teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of students.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Education or a related field, teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), and experience working with Key Stage 3 students.

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of the KS3 curriculum in English and Maths, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to motivate and inspire students, proficiency in using educational technology, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic potential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in special education needs (SEN) or experience working with diverse student populations would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a part-time basis, typically outside of regular school hours. The tutor may need to travel to different locations to deliver outreach sessions to students. The environment may vary from school settings to community centres.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
