Job Description
The Details
1. Working with Product Sustainability partner, drive, support, and review material sustainability progress using insights from regular fibre tracking data.
2. Support Product Sustainability Partner & Circularity Partner to integrate and improve material sustainability through both net zero and Circularity workstreams.
3. Be point of contact for specific buying teams - deal with technical sustainable material queries, provide tailored training/technical support as required/requested, and build/maintain strong relationships with the teams to support delivery and uptake of more sustainable materials and associated processes.
4. Work with Product Sustainability Partner to develop sustainable material guidelines for non-clothing product (e.g. footwear, accessories) and roll these out to relevant buying teams.
5. Work with Product Sustainability Partner and Circularity Partner to investigate new innovations, and certifications across multiple product areas; including clothing, footwear, accessories & lingerie.
6. Be Sustainability Team point of contact for selected sustainable product marketing stories/campaigns, reviewing and approving marketing copy and co-ordinating with marketing, buying and other teams as needed.
7. Support Fabric and Sustainability team on development of new policies and processes to drive delivery of FWI throughout the business.
8. Work with Product Sustainability Partner to monitor and improve coverage and accuracy of sustainable material certification, engaging with third party certification database providers, suppliers and internal teams as needed.
9. Work with Product Sustainability Partner to integrate sustainable material certification processes efficiently within internal systems (e.g. PLM) and end to end product development process.
10. Support the Data Partner with the tracking and reporting of sustainable fibre uptake such as Cotton, Polyester and Viscose.
11. Support the Data Partner as required on external reporting needs where needed for ASOS Plc website, annual CR Report, NGO's & marketing activities.
12. Review/update external and marketing comms (e.g. web pages) relating to sustainable product (shared responsibility with Established Product Sustainability Partner).
13. Manage relationships with selected external stakeholders related to sustainable product.
14. Reviewing and supporting ASOS strategy for internal and external sustainability processes, systems, and tools to ensure these are robustly implemented throughout our suppliers working with ASOS own product and 3rd Party Brands.
15. Regularly collect and present market intel with competitor's activities and sustainability progress in a Retail facing manner to educate and engage.
16. Put the customer at the heart of all that you do.
17. Think creatively and be product minded with a good eye for fashion.
18. Keeping up to date with industry developments and sectoral risks and adapting ASOS sustainability programme accordingly.
19. Support internal Commercial and Marketing Teams to enhance the ASOS shopping experience for customers.
20. Support a rigorous sustainability onboarding process for new production regions working alongside ASOS Sourcing Team & 3rd Party Branded Engagement Team.
21. Support Established Product Sustainability Partner in updating ASOS training tools and programs to ensure sustainability, circularity & materials are integrated and efficient for internal and external use.

Qualifications
About You
1. Is deeply passionate about sustainable fashion and can demonstrate successes in this area.
2. Track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and employs a flexible approach to challenging strategies and situations.
3. Has held a previous role(s) in retail fashion sector, ideally 3-5 years with sustainability experience.
4. Strong experience of working in or with commercial/buying teams.
5. Robust project management experience and skills.
6. Excellent people skills, including track record of working effectively with diverse multiple teams and stakeholders.
7. Excellent communication skills, with experience and ability to communicate complex/technical information to non-expert audiences including retail audiences and customers/public.
8. Can work as part of a team as well as work on your own and make decisions.
