A 'GOOD' secondary school in BS10 is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will work as part of a resource base team within the mainstream setting.
The Resource Base is for students with moderate learning difficulties, working mainly below their chronological age. The base offers small classes with high levels of adult support and a hands-on, fun approach to learning to develop academic and life skills.
Job Description:
* Provide academic, social and emotional support.

* Provide both1:1 and small group support.
* Implement positive behaviour management techniques and strategies.
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning.
