The difference you will make as a Oval Centre Cleaner
As a Cleaning Operative at The Oval Centre, you will deliver a high standard cleaning service throughout the centre, ensuring that areas are hygienic and clean for people to use, whilst operating in a safe manner, observing company health and safety policies and guidelines.
As part of the duties of a Cleaning Operative in this particular role, you will be required to be a key holder to fulfil these tasks

Role Profile
9. Perform a range of cleaning tasks throughout the centre including hoovering, dusting, polishing, damp wiping and mopping
10. Clean all surfaces: internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings
11. Clean all sanitary areas: toilets and showers
12. Refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
13. To empty all bins, placing all rubbish, including boxes in the bins provided at the rear of the building.
14. Operate cleaning machinery such as dishwashers, Buffer.
15. To support the Oval teams with day to day tasks where appropriate and agreed with the manager.
16. To assist in keeping a full inventory of all cleaning equipment.
17. To assist in the implementation of risk assessments for all areas of work being carried out.
18. To ensure COSHH data is available and up to date for all cleaning products used, and to obtain material safety data sheets from suppliers.
19. To undertake COSHH risk assessments for use of each cleaning product.
20. To ensure that all cleaning equipment used is safe to do so, all cleaning equipment is PAT tested and serviced in line with manufacturer recommendations.
21. To order cleaning supplies through approved businesses as and when required.
22. To report repairs and maintenance in the Centre to the relevant staff/teams.
23. To display a positive attitude to your work and be a proactive member of the team
24. Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and customers
25. Be willing to undertake appropriate training and keep knowledge up to date
