Key qualities we are looking from the Sales Coordinator:
As a member of the Sales Department, theSales Coordinator will actively support the Sales Department to source new leads and business opportunities, focus on local areas or industry sectors through focused research utilising various methods and resources including existing contact information, internet, and social media platforms, with assisting in the administration process supporting with contracting and system maintenance.
The role suits a dynamic, driven, self-starter, who wants to join a growing proactive Sales Department with the capacity to develop with growing further into the Department.
The main responsibilities for this role would include:
* To provide full Sales co-ordination and support of the Sales Department, assisting with all administration required on a day-to-day basis.
* To assist with the compilation of weekly/monthly and annual statistics for reporting, providing a detailed overview of all top producing clients and providing all statistical reports as required for the sales team (weekly and as and when required), Sales & Revenue Strategy Meetings (weekly), monthly reporting pack for the Sales Manager.
* To work closely with the Sales team to co-ordinate and manage trade shows, sales trips, roadshows and client events including any market research, time planning and appointment scheduling that may be required.
* To assist with any core market research, ensuring all research is pro-actively completed, developing new leads and conducting the correct level of research, and ensuring the research findings are communicated to the Sales Manager.
* To assist in ensuring all databases are kept up to date, clean of duplications and consistent in terms of data entry.
* To be fully conversant with relevant Travelclick products and assist the Sales team with reporting, analysis of business into the competitive set and into the hotel. Analysis of where the business is coming from in terms of Country, City and Agency and ensuring all sales leads generated through enquiries and Agency 360 are communicated to the pro-active Sales team
* To be aware of any special events or promotions that may be taking place within the Hotel.
* To be aware of the Hotel as a product and all the services that can be offered to the public.
* Knowledge of Opera Cloud will be an advantage.
